Morning and Afternoon: Zombie Stage Make-Up

In this workshop learn how to create special effects with stage make-up. Special focus will be paid to Zombie Makeup and re creating makeup effects from Zombie Films.

On stage, one’s features must be clearly visible to everyone sitting in the theater, even the people in the very back row. Many people don’t know the correct technique apply makeup that will look good from 30 feet away, especially gross, disgusting makeup effects that will send your head reeling.

Both male and female actors use basic stage makeup techniques to enhance their natural features, correct or diminish other features, and change their appearance. Often, a role calls for “character” makeup, such as stylized fairies, zombies, animals, or a look of old age. Makeup can accomplish all of these looks and many more.

You will need a T shirt you don’t mind getting dirty, and a great sense of humor.
