Morning: The Art of Science

Art is an important tool to the field biologist. By drawing and writing observations of nature, one is forced to focus on the details. Putting this work into a field notebook allows a scientist to make comparisons and see patterns over time. The more you practice this skill the more you will see. This workshop will give you the tools to become a better observer of the world around you. Because we will try to draw wildlife, participants will need to be able to sit quietly for part of the time.
Leader: Mr. Brummer
